Jett's Story
Jett was adopted by us when he was 2.5 years old from the elderly couple who raised him from a puppy when they were being forced to move from their rental home.
Jett grew up with a lot of love in his first couple of years but not a lot of training. When he grew to the very large, strong boy that he is, he was too much for the owners to manage, especially to handle walking him on a lead.
When we met him and took him on our first walk together, he pulled his new 6'2"/90kg dad clean off his feet. He didn't have good doggy manners and was a very anxious boy.
Since then, he has had a lot of training, patience and love from his new family and his new Alpha dog Jericho. While he still loses his nut at people walking near the fence, he can now live in a house with cats, he wont hassle the chickens and sits like a good boy ... for food.
But he is still a pure German Shepherd so is a complete doofus and unaware of his size, will knock everything over with his massive tail, will sit or lean his giant butt on anyone, loves pouncing on reflections from watches and mirrors and of course, in typical GSD style, he will NEVER bring a toy back to you.
